Senior Software Engineer As a Senior Software Engineer with KSYS you will be working with a group of talented developers on all phases of software development, including requirements definition, design, architecture, testing, and integration you will be bring cutting edge solutions to the market. Responsibilities: The successful individual will drive software architecture of next generation .NET Service oriented architecture platform. This is an ideal position for a senior level developer striving to move into an Architect role: • Lead and contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of the product, designing the software architecture and database structure and managing the implementation • Provide technical guidance to other developers • Provide accurate resource estimates, timelines and forecasts for development activities • Review and verify code accuracy and documentation of other team members • Use and enforce best practices for code repositories and version control management • Thoroughly test version releases and code changes prior to deployment. • Coordinate activities of 3rd party software development resources, when needed • Maintain awareness of development trends and technology improvements and capitalize on opportunities. • Direct and assist with quality assurance activities • Prepare progress reports summarizing development activities, identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies Experience: • 5+ years of direct experience in enterprise software design and product development: Solid experience developing enterprise software products, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution. • Must have technical lead experience for medium to large sized projects. • Experience following formal software development processes • Expert and practitioner of the principles & patterns of Agile Software
